2 And I will tell you of the wrestle which I had before God, before I received a remission of my sins.
3 Behold, I went to hunt beasts in the forests; and the words which I had often heard my father speak concerning eternal life, and the joy of the saints, sunk deep into my heart.
4 And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul; and all the day long did I cry unto him; yea, and when the night came I did still raise my voice high that it reached the heavens.
Why?In these verses, Enos was in the wilderness which is one of the times I feel the most inclined to reflect as well, and he was filled with the spirit of repentance. I love that because I have had so many similar circumstances, and although I am not sure what his sins were, when I repented, I was able to feel forgiven eventually, but to hear about how plainly he was forgiven helps me to realize that I was forgiven the same way, even if I did not hear a voice or anything. Enos is a great example of someone who turned their life around and repented and obviously felt the pure love of Christ. I am not sure how sinful he had been before, but based on the amount of pain he endured I would think he had come a long way.
